Drive from Fez to the Erg Chebbi Dunes (Merzouga)

Merzouga Desert
Our English speaking driver Will meet you at your hotel or Riad by for the departure to Merzouga, the threshold of the Moroccan Sahara.
You’ll see and enjoy the beautiful nature and the amazing views of cedar forests on the way as we stop by Ifrane city we’ll visit the Barbary Apes and tour through another beautiful and scenic city named Midelt.
On route to the Sahara we’ll travel through the Ziz valley and the Efous oasis which offers amazing photographic opportunities.
Arrival late afternoon for the night in Merzouga.
Discover the dunes in Erg Chebbi the largest sand-sea which effectively marks the start of the Moroccan and African Sahara.
In the afternoon you will meet your nomad guide for your overnight camel excursion.
Your guide will take you into the desert by camel.
When you reach your accommodation, you can relax, climb the dunes or just star gaze while your guide prepares your evening meal and sets up your campfire for you.
