This tour visits the most vibrant parks in northern Tanzania, specifically Tarangire and Ngorongoro. These parks are known for their significant migratory movements within the greater Tarangire ecosystem. During the dry season, from June to October, large herds of animals are drawn to the Tarangire River. At this time, the number of elephants is particularly impressive, making the park a must-visit destination for any safari in northern Tanzania.

Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will leave Kankari Lodge and head to Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world's seven natural wonders. It is the largest inactive, unbroken and unfilled volcanic caldera.
During your six to seven-hour game drive (lunch included), you will have the opportunity to see various wildlife inside the crater, including lions, elephants, cheetahs, rhinos, buffalo and zebras. However, you will not see giraffes within the crater itself, as the steep sides make it difficult for them to enter. You may be able to spot them around the crater.
In the evening, you will drive back to Arusha.
