Marangu Waterfall-coffee Tour and Chaga Caves (Kikuletwa)

Moshi
At around 8:00 am we'll start our drive from your hotel in Moshi to Marangu gate - the starting point for Kilimanjaro Mountain. There you will get a short brief on the history of Mt. Kilimanjaro and take some pictures. Afterwards we will ride down to our second stop - the coffee farm. Visit a small coffee farm where you will learn about how the coffee is grown, harvested, and processed locally. You will try your own hand at processing, roasting, and preparing a fresh cup of coffee.
After your cup of coffee, we’ll continue the ride to the Ndoro waterfalls. You will ride on the beautiful small plantations of bananas and coffee while enjoying the green landscape. From the waterfall, we'll drive to the Chagga underground caves and the Chagga live museum. Take a moment to learn the history of the caves and visit the museum which will give you the insight history of the Chagga tribe life. After lunch, we will continue to the Blacksmith to learn how this community makes their iron tools.
