Daebyeon Port Entrance
Gijang in Busan is a seaweed and anchovy-populated region that is famous nationwide. Records show that seaweed and anchovy cultivation in Gijang stretches back to the Joseon period, and they have been considered the best-known seafood from Gijang for centuries.
Daebyeon Port is a natural fishing village which is rare in the south of the East Sea and is well-known for raw anchovy and raw cutlass fish. It is centered around Daebyeon and Muyang Villages and local restaurants. There is always fresh raw anchovy and anchovy stew, which can be enjoyed only at Daebyeon Port. Anchovy fishing boats line the entrance of the village. Every year in April, an anchovy festival is held to enable experiencing of anchovy netting, free tastings, and more.

Gijang Market
Gijang King Crab Market is an outdoor market selling various products including fishery, live King Crab, and agricultural products. It features seasonal fishery products. Seaweed and anchovy are available in spring, while cutlassfish is famous in autumn. The cutlass fish sold during the two months before and after Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving) are known across the country for their extraordinary taste. Reasonable prices attract customers to this market because prices here are even lower than that of Korea’s largest seafood market, Jagalchi Market.

Haeundae Dalmaji-gil Road
Called Busan’s Montmartre, Dalmaji-gil Road is famous for its views of the blue ocean, white sandy beach, Camellia forest, and pine tree forest, creating one of Busan’s eight scenic sites.
Imagine a trail by a railway track where the blue seas and open skies greet you. Romantic, isn’t it? Treat yourself to a retro view of the Busan Green Railway walking trail, and catch the beach train whipping past with a merry whistle. This is the best place for a therapeutic walk in Busan.

Songjeong Beach
Songjeong Beach stretches for 1.2 kilometers with a x_width of 57 meters. The white sandy beach is ideal for families with young children because of its shallow waters. The beach offers clean water, and a more peaceful atmosphere than the popular Haeundae and Gwangalli Beaches in downtown Busan. It is also very popular as a photography venue for pre-wedding photoshoots. The area around the beach offers many hoe (sliced raw fish) restaurants.

Dongbaekseom Island is an island located in Busan, near the famous Haeundae Beach. The island honors Scholar Choi Chi-won. You can visit this island through a long walking path. Gwangalli Beach
Located to the west of Haeundae Beach, Gwangalli Beach is 1.4 kilometers long and 25~110 meters wide, and is famous for its fine sand. The area underwent a water purification process, which led the ecosystem to flourish in the nearby river waters. In addition to the beachfront, the Gwangalli area is filled with delicious restaurants and romantic cafes, as well as stores selling famous fashion brands. The area has plenty to offer, but many people come in the evening to take in the bright lights of Gwangandaegyo Bridge, stretching across the horizon.

Hwangnyeongsan Observatory Cafe
