A guided horseback trail ride through Rock Springs Run State Reserve treats riders to an immersive journey across diverse Central Florida landscapes. Along scenic equestrian trails, you’ll ride through sand pine scrub, pine flatwoods, oak hammocks, and swampy bayheads.
The trail follows near the tannin‑stained springs and winding creek, offering opportunities to pause at the water’s edge and marvel at red‑shouldered hawks, gopher tortoises, indigo snakes, and even elusive black bears.
You’ll traverse a historic corridor, passing through areas once inhabited by early settlers, including remnants of the “lost town of Ethel”.
