An unforgettable Wasini Island day snorkeling tour blends vibrant marine life with rich local culture, you will board a traditional Arabian dhow to cruise the pristine waters of the Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park, a world-renowned sanctuary where you can snorkel alongside sea turtles, vibrant coral reefs, and resident pods of bottlenose dolphins.
You will be picked up from your hotel and drive to Wasini Island along Mombasa Lunga Lunga highway . Here you will board an Arabic dhow and sail for one hour searching for dolphins. Sail to Kisite Marine Mational Park where you will get to snorkel and swim. You will have your lunch of seafood and Swahili dished at one of the restaurant within wasini . After lunch, you will continue sailing along the mangrove swamps and then visit the Wasini Island where you will learn more about the Swahili people and the Arab's history. In the 10th century, Arabs were slave traders and they used to inter marry with the Bantus at the coast where we had the Swahili people. After the end of the slave trade in the 17th century, many Africans settled here. After the tour You will arrive at the jet and drive back to the hotel.
