You will be picked up at your hotel at 9.a.m to enjoy an amazing full day tour discovering Duong Lam ancient village in Hanoi, where Phung Hung and Ngo Quyen, two Vietnam’s kings were born. With about 956 traditional houses, Duong Lam village now still preserves most of the basic characteristics of a traditional Vietnam’s village with port village, old tall trees, large courtyard, ancient temples, well, water fields together with bones of fish shaped roads. Among many features still kept in Duong Lam ancient village now, the most outstanding is the old village gate in Mong Phu village. Moreover, coming to Duong Lam village, you can also visit the 300-year-old house. Then, you will be served special Vietnamese lunch prepared by the host. While being in the house, you can also help the local people make local specialties including: rice cake filled with brown onion and soft green-lentil cake and then have time enjoying these dishes (depend on the season of the year).
