Located on Santa Fe Plaza, this iconic adobe landmark has witnessed more than four centuries of Native American, Spanish, Mexican, and American history. As you explore the site, you'll learn how generations of governors, traders, settlers, and local communities helped shape the cultural heritage of New Mexico. Discover the stories behind this remarkable building and gain a deeper appreciation for Santa Fe's unique place in American history. This was the site of 17th century Inquisition arrests of accused crypto-Jews.
