Isla Guasirdup – Your San Blas Overwater Escape If you are driving to San Blas with your own vehicle, please make sure to arrive no later than 8:30 AM and note that only SUV/4x4 cars are allowed to cross the border. Smaller vehicles will be turned away. The Port of Carti has three docks; your lancha boat and captain will be waiting at Diblin Tupile Port. For a stress-free trip, we also recommend arranging round-trip transportation from Panama City directly with us.

Your San Blas adventure begins with a boat tour (itinerary depends on weather and ocean conditions). Guests may choose between two unforgettable options: Island Hopping Tour: Start with a visit to Isla Perro, one of the most famous islands in San Blas, known for its crystal-clear waters and the sunken shipwreck reef — a snorkeling hotspot filled with colorful fish. Relax on the palm-fringed beaches, swim in turquoise waters, and enjoy picture-perfect views. Kuna Community Tour: Immerse yourself in the traditions of the indigenous Guna Yala people, learn about their culture and daily life, and experience a side of San Blas most travelers never get to see.

Next up we visit the Natural Pools, a sunken island sand bank in the middle of the ocean. (only if selecting Island Hopping Tour option)

Both tour options visit Isla Hierba before returning to the Isla Guasirdup to check into your Over Water cabin

We offer the option to visit the indigenous Kuna Community. This option includes a visit to a traditional village, where guests meet the residents and learn about their culture and traditions.

Check-in to your Overwater Cabin on Isla Guasirdup begins at 3:00 PM. Once settled, spend the rest of your afternoon enjoying the island — swim in the warm Caribbean Sea, take out a kayak, or simply relax under the shade of coconut palms. As the day winds down, admire a spectacular San Blas sunset from your private deck, the perfect way to end your first day in paradise.
