Your day begins directly at the Le Havre cruise terminal. Our team will be waiting outside the terminal building holding a sign with the tour name VEXPERIO, making it easy to find your group. Once all guests have arrived, you will board a comfortable air conditioned coach and begin the journey to Rouen. The drive follows the scenic Seine River valley and passes through the peaceful Normandy countryside. Meet your guide and begin a walking tour through the historic center of Rouen. As you explore the city on foot, you will discover the landmarks that define its long and fascinating past. See the impressive Cathedral of Notre Dame, a remarkable Gothic structure that inspired a series of famous paintings by Claude Monet. Walk beneath the Gros Horloge, the historic astronomical clock that stretches across the street and marks the entrance to one of Rouen’s most lively areas filled with shops and cafés. Continue to the Old Market Square, the place where Joan of Arc was executed in 1431 and which today is surrounded by restaurants and local life. As you move through Rouen’s narrow medieval streets, you will notice the colorful half timbered houses and the atmosphere of a city where centuries of history are still visible at every turn.

After the guided tour ends, you will have time to explore Rouen on your own. You may choose to enjoy lunch at a local bistro or bakery, browse small boutiques and craft shops, or simply walk through the historic streets and take photos. If you prefer, you can also visit additional churches or museums, depending on how you would like to spend your time. Before the free time begins, your guide will clearly explain where and when the group will meet again for the return to Le Havre.

At the agreed time, the group meets again at the designated meeting point in Rouen. You will then board the coach for the return journey to Le Havre, which takes approximately one hour.
