Vinicunca Regenbogenberg
This tour will take you on an amazing journey through Andean landscapes, where you will hike towards the amazing Rainbow Mountain. You'll see snow-capped mountain peaks, Andean animals and the highlight of the tour, the painted hills of the Rainbow Mountain.
You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco between 4:00am and 4:30am and drive to the restaurant where breakfast is served. The drive takes around 2.5 hours. The hike from the starting point to the Rainbow Mountain takes around 1 hour. As you get closer to the Rainbow Mountain, you'll begin to see the first signs of the colored minerals that forms the painted hills.
Your guide will explain what makes up the existence of the Rainbow Mountain, and finally you will hike up to a view point that gives you a 360 degree view of the beautiful landscape that makes up the sacred land. Once you are back to the starting point of the hike, you will be provided a lunch buffet. The tour ends at Plaza Regocijo around 5:30pm.
