Burgpalast
Der königliche Hof zog im 15. Jahrhundert unter der Herrschaft von König Matthias hierher.
Buda wurde zu einer der einflussreichsten Städte Europas. Die Türken drangen 1541 in die Burg ein und herrschten bis 1686.
Der Palast beherbergt heute zwei Museen: die Ungarische Nationalgalerie und das Burgmuseum.

Matthiaskirche
Wunderschöne, weitläufige und beeindruckende Kirche inmitten des eleganten Schlossplatzes, erbaut 1255 während der Herrschaft von König Bell IV. Damit war sie die erste Kirche von Buda.
Sie ist ein Meisterwerk der ungarischen Gotik, in das mittelalterliche Könige zur Messe kamen.
