Wir starten auf dem lokalen Markt und kaufen frische Zutaten ein. Wir zeigen Ihnen, wie Sie die besten Zutaten auswählen. Dazu gehören Kartoffeln, Zwiebeln, Paprika, Tomaten, Kürbisblätter, Mais, Bohnen, Ananas usw. Vom Markt aus gehen wir mit unserem traditionellen Einkaufskorb „Kiondo“ zur Bushaltestelle und steigen dort in einen „Matatu“, das beliebteste Verkehrsmittel der Kenianer. Wir gehen durch die Junction Mall zum Haus. Falls uns eine Zutat fehlt, gehen wir in die Läden. Zu Hause waschen wir uns zunächst die Hände und legen allen Schmuck ab, der beim Kochen stören könnte.
