Nationalpark Plitvicer Seen
Veliki Slap is the highest and one of the most impressive waterfalls in Plitvice Lakes National Park. It is about 78 meters tall and is formed by the river Plitvica River, which cascades down a steep rock face, creating a powerful and scenic water flow.
What makes Veliki Slap especially unique is how it changes throughout the seasons. In spring, it is at its most powerful due to melting snow and increased water flow. In summer, it offers a refreshing and lush green landscape, while in winter it often turns into a stunning frozen waterfall.
