Prato della Valle, one of the largest squares in Europe, is a stunning oval-shaped public space surrounded by a canal and lined with statues of historical figures. As you walk around the central island—called the Isola Memmia—you’re greeted by tree-lined paths, elegant bridges, and views of Padua’s surrounding architecture. It’s a beautiful place to pause, enjoy the scenery, and get a sense of the city’s long history.

You are encouraged to visit Camposampiero, where you can stand in the Santuario del Noce (Walnut Tree Sanctuary), the exact spot where St. Anthony lived in a small cell built among the branches to find solitude with God. Visit the Sanctuary of the Vision, where it is said the Christ Child appeared to him. ( This is not included in the tour and optional self visit after guide's instructions )
