Kintetsu Beppu Ropeway is a scenic aerial cable car that carries visitors from Beppu to the slopes of Mt. Umi Jigoku (Sea Hell) is one of Beppu's most famous hot spring attractions, known for its striking cobalt-blue geothermal pond created by naturally heated mineral-rich water. Although the steaming water reaches temperatures of nearly 100°C and is not suitable for bathing, visitors can stroll through beautifully landscaped gardens, view other geothermal features, and experience one of the most iconic "Hells of Beppu," making it a must-visit destination for nature and sightseeing enthusiasts.
