The Ark of Bukhara is a massive ancient fortress in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, originally built in the 5th century. It served as a royal residence and government center for various rulers over more than a thousand years. Though damaged during the Soviet invasion in 1920, it remains a major historical and tourist site today.
