It has a very interesting collection of archeological treasures starting from the paleolithic period until the roman times. The tour is a perfect way to understand why the people of the antiquity living here were not so different from the people of today. The guide is going to give information about the artifacts that go beyond the ones already given in the prefaces connecting the political, artistic, social and historical background of the area with them.

Im Archäologischen Museum von Thessaloniki werden einige der wertvollsten Artefakte des Landes Mazedonien in Griechenland ausgestellt. Skulpturen, Mosaike, Gefäße, Musikinstrumente, Münzen und eine einzigartige Sammlung goldener Kränze. Durch die Ausstellungsräume reisen wir durch die Zeit und verstehen diesen relativ unbekannten Teil Griechenlands und seine Geschichte besser.
