From Katunayake to Yapahuwa travel distance is 120 Km and it's about 3 hours of travel time. Yapahuwa is an ancient royal fortress of Sri Lanka that dated back to 1272. In the era of the King, Bhuvenakabahu Yapahuwa became the capital of Sri Lanka. This Rock fortress complex which is around 100 meters from the base level is very attractive with its surrounding scenery. The staircase leading to the rock, Lion stone sculptures, Carvings by the staircase, and Stunning views over the fortress are the main attractions in Yapahuwa. We will spend 1 hour & 30 minutes in the location. (We have not included the entrance ticket of 500 LKR per person to this attraction with our price)

After Yapahuwa sightseeing in Yapahuwa, the tour starts from Yapahuwa to Anuradhapura. Travel time is around 1 hour & 30 minutes. travel distance is about 75 Km. After reaching Anuradhapura check in to your hotel and relax in the hotel. (hotel price not included with our package price) As per the time availability and if the tourist is comfortable the sightseeing in Anuradhapura ancient city can cover on Day 01 evening or else it'll be on Day 02 morning hours. For the entire sightseeing in Anuradhapura minimum of 03 hours time required.
