The drive takes us through the beautiful Albanian countryside before we reach Ohrid, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Known for its pristine lake and ancient churches, Ohrid is often referred to as the “Jerusalem of the Balkans.” Explore Ohrid In Ohrid, we will explore the Old Town with its cobbled streets, the impressive Samuil Fortress, and the Church of St. John at Kaneo perched above the lake. We’ll also take in the rich history of the town as we visit several churches, monasteries, and cultural landmarks.

Drive to Skopje After a fulfilling day in Ohrid, we continue our journey to Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia. Upon arrival, we will embark on a city tour to explore the vibrant mix of architectural styles and historical landmarks. Explore Skopje In Skopje, we’ll visit the iconic Stone Bridge, which connects the old and new parts of the city, and stroll around Macedonia Square, where we can see the Alexander the Great Statue. We’ll also explore the Skopje Fortress, offering stunning views of the city, and visit Mother Teresa Square. Skopje’s unique combination of modern monuments and Ottoman-era influences makes it a fascinating city to explore.
