(We offer complimentary airport pick up for all our guests arriving by flight in the morning of Day 1 - pick up time will be at 6am from the airport to the departure point in Nairobi city) Pick up from your hotel or airport and commence the drive to Masai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. You will arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon after you check in depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at your preferred lodge/camp.

You will have a stop over at the Great Rift Valley point, Mai Mahiu Road, where you will have a breaking view of the floor of the rift valley. The rift valley system was formed 5 million years ago and the rift runs from the red sea through Ethiopia and Kenya and Tanzania. The rift valley is an active volcanic area and has some of the most interesting features including more than 8 lakes, dormant and active volcanic mountains and hotsprings and geysers like the Olkaria geothermal wells and Lake Bogoria geysers. You can actually see the volcanic Mt Suswa and Mt Longonot from this high place with their evergreen craters and the undulating green rift valley floor. The view from here is just amazing.
