Departure from Lomé for a one and a half hour journey towards Kpalimé. We will begin our ascent by car to the village of Kebo Djigbé, perched on the slopes of the mountain, offering a magnificent view of the region. A short hike through the village will take us to the summit of Agou. Now is the perfect time to get out your cameras and capture the view. Hopefully, you'll have the opportunity to interact with local residents and meet the village chief to ask questions. The climate on Pic d'Agou is so pleasant that you will want to stay there all day. The journey to the summit of Mount Agou is an exciting adventure through dense forests and steep hills. Along the way, you'll discover a rich diversity of flora and fauna, including birds, butterflies and, if you're lucky, monkeys.

Next stop: head to the craft production center where you will discover a multitude of unique items such as batik clothing, leather goods, bracelets, wood carvings, pottery, as well as batiks and macramés made from local materials. This place also plays an essential role as a school for young people in the city of Kpalimé, thus offering a double dimension to your visit.

Then continue with a brief stop to admire the surrounding landscape, then continue on foot or by car to discover the Viale castle. This castle is particularly popular because of its architecture and its geographical location. From this elevated location, you will enjoy a clear panoramic view of the town of Kpalimé and its surroundings, as well as the borders with Ghana. If weather conditions permit, you might even see Lake Upper Volta in the distance, providing a spectacle not to be missed.

A few kilometers from the viale castle is the Kouma konda weather center. This will be an educational visit on the method of collecting weather data and its role for the city of Kpalimé

Our next stop will be the small Tokpli waterfall, where you may have the chance to witness the making of palm wine and its distillation into a local drink. Next, we will visit the Kpimé dam, which provides all the electricity to the town of Kpalimé. On the way down, we will have a magnificent view of Mount Agou passing in front of the Kpimé waterfall, without stopping.

Next stop to recharge the batteries: the Womé waterfall for a good swim in its refreshing waterfall in order to better resume this long road that awaits us.
