Upon arrival in Cox Creek, you’ll check in at the Barrel Proof Bed & Breakfast, a bourbon-themed boutique stay designed for upscale comfort and southern charm. Guests are welcomed with a light snack and offered time to freshen up, settle into their rooms, and receive a full orientation on the exciting experiences ahead. The elegant grounds and thoughtful design make it the perfect home base for your weekend escape. After check-in, you’ll prepare for the highlight of the day: your private barrel selection and bottling experience.

After settling in, the group will head to a partnering distillery for a private single-barrel selection experience. Led by a seasoned bourbon specialist, you’ll taste and evaluate several exclusive barrels to select the perfect one for your group. Once chosen, you'll move to the hands-on bottling process, where each guest fills, seals, and custom-labels their share—approximately 30 bottles per person for a group of 6. This immersive experience is both educational and unforgettable, giving you a tangible piece of Kentucky to take home. After bottling, you’ll return to the B&B and head to a curated dinner at one of Bardstown’s top restaurants (meal not included). The night concludes fireside with a complimentary bourbon and cigar pairing, offering a refined and relaxing way to celebrate Day 1.
