Your guide will sign your name and meet you at 8:30am of your Guiyang hotel then transfer to Liping area and visit some local Dong village there, from Guiyang to Liping need 5hrs driving, 300km.

After the 4hrs driving, you will first stop at Xiaohuang Dong village or the similar village as the driver recommended or the other village that you want to go. Xiaohuan Dong Village is located 20 kilometers away from Congjiang County of Southeast Guizhou. There are 680 Dong Family living here, totally over 3300 people. Seldom connected with the outside world, Dong people still living in very primitive way, every family doing farm, hunting and weaving cloth. Xiaohuang Dong Village is praised highly as the Village of Songs because the villagers are be accomplished in singing a kind of polyphonic folk songs, which are called “Galao” or “Dage” in Dong dialect. It gained a title of the Village of China Folk Art from the Ministry of Culture of the People's Republic of China 1996, which makes it renowned.

Next, go to Zhanli ong village.The Zhanli village serves as a gathering point for the Dong ethnic group, accommodating 836 villagers in 186 households. Ancestors of Zhanli made a rule during the early Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) to achieve balance between the population and the amount of cultivated land.
