Vor 1000 Jahren gab es hier in Granby einen mächtigen Wikingerhof. Zwischen Gräbern und Gebäuderesten befinden sich das Fundament und das Plateau nach einem großen Hallengebäude auf der Spitze des Hügels neben Granbyhällen. Die archäologische Stätte Granby wurde 1988–1989 vom National Heritage Board teilweise archäologisch untersucht. Die Stätte ist ein typisches Beispiel dafür, wie während der späten Eisenzeit im Mälaren-Gebiet eine landwirtschaftliche Umgebung von hohem Status entstehen konnte. Mit Hilfe des Führers lernen wir den Wikingerhof, das Leben dort und auch die Namen einiger Bewohner kennen.
