This part of the tour is aimed at families as well as history and archaeology enthusiasts. If walking in the forest on a sloping site is a challenge for you, it is possible to start the tour directly at the Cartier-Roberval site on chemin Saint-Louis west of Quebec City. An asphalt trail is usable by people with reduced mobility but it ends in a staircase not suitable for four-carriers & wheelchairs.
