The Fortress Louisbourg is a living ,working town from the 17th century. They have a bakery, eatery, blacksmith shop, stables and gardens. There is also a native display, as the french befriended the native people with trade and knowledge for furs and food. Blackwood Tours provides a unique tour for the Fortress, sometimes we can provide a french speaking guide if requested.
