Sarajevo has a strong subcultured street art scene. Historicaly, after the 1995 siege of Sarajevo, the city was 95% damaged and remained depresively uncolored. The first color renaissance was actually provided by street artists through street art, graffiti scene and various murals. Every picture on the wall describes our society and the city itself. Different interpretions, various expressions and many colored areas will be met on the tour. Let's see Sarajevo through a unique perspective, guided by local artists and certified tour guides. COPPER HANDICRAFT WORKSHOP (Make your own souvenir from Sarajevo)
In this tour/activity we will learn more about Sarajevo's traditional crafts. One of them is of course the coppersmithing. We will also meet with our local artist, a coopersmith, and with his help make a small and unique souvenir for you to take home :) Coopersmith is an old name for a craftsman, who designs or modifies jewelry and small ornaments of silver or copper. This craft is, in fact, a kind of art since small ornaments are made where inventiveness, skill and precision are needed. Earlier, hand tools were used and the work was done mostly by hand. Contemporary technology for the processing of materials and decoration making has recently been used. The coppersmiths also use various types of precious stones in their work. The most common products of these handicrafts are jewelery, such as rings, brooches, necklaces and bracelets.
The unique in this activity is that you are making your own souvenir, jewlery, handcrafted with your own designe guided by our expert hand, made with love and creativity and you will expired something that does not changed for 1000 of years. You will go in the past, handracft something for the present and have a wonderful memorie for the future.

In this tour we will visit few locations in Sarajevo that are related to conceptual and contemporary art, we talk to local artists and art curators. Conceptual art is a direction in modern art from the early 1960s to the mid 1970s. It emerged as an artist's desire to dematerialize the subject of artistic activity, using non-traditional artwork and materials (polaroid, art, film, video, body art, happening, urban action).
