Once you have booked the tour, you can go to the rental point to pick up your bikes. To welcome you there will be a specialized instructor who will hold a briefing on the bike, the route and the operation of the app, to ensure a safe start with the Virtual Guide. The tour is a coastal ring of about 18 km with 400 m of altitude difference, on dirt roads in the area of Puntone and Bandite di Scarlino, ideal for e-MTB. The route is smooth, with a few short steeper ramps, and develops in the reserve between Mediterranean scrub, cork, strawberry trees and beautiful views of the Gulf of Follonica. Cala Violina takes its name from a detail that makes it unique: tiny grains of quartz that play a melody at every step. Sound beaches are an ancient Superstar, already narrated by Marco Polo. There are barely a hundred such places in the world, and Cala Violina is one of them.
Cala Violina, in the Mediterranean scrub of the Scarlino nature reserve, is a strip of beach facing an uncontaminated sea, enclosed between two promontories. Cala Violina can only be reached on foot or by bicycle.
