After breakfast, your guide will meet you at your Arusha-area location and hold a quick briefing before heading to Lake Manyara National Park.
Enjoy a game drive in the park: look for tree-climbing lions, giraffes, hippos and flocks of vibrant flamingos at this park shaped by a crater lake.

Enjoy a local village walk in the community of Mtu wa Mbu, which stands just outside the park gates.
Stroll through a rice plantation or a produce market and get a feel for the traditional, but vibrant community.

Lake Manyara Viewpoint
As you head to your overnight accommodations in the Karatu area, you will pass the Lake Manyara Viewpoint, with an opportunity to see the impressive Great Rift Valley and Escarpment.
