At Teacher's Fountain in the northeast corner of Director Park, 815 SW Park Ave, at the edge of the Cultural District in Portland, we will begin our exploration. Meet your guide and begin your day by a walk through the shade of the old giant elms as you walk past the art museum for your first streetcar ride into the Pearl District.

Your walk to the first streetcar stop will take us through the Park Blocks and past some of the monuments and public art here.

Walk through the Cultural District to the Art Museum. Under the shadow of giant elms we will learn about the district and meet the art museum

Your route will take us right past the biggest independent new and used bookstore in the world!

Get off the streetcar in the Pearl District and walk through this vibrant neighborhood, learning of its history of industry and art.

Your route will take us through Tanner Springs, where we will learn about the park design of NW Portland's Pearl District

Explore via foot and streetcar the formerly industrial, lumberyard origins of Slabtown

We'll check out the South Waterfront District and learn about the Aerial Tram
