Rock-Hewn Churches: The Tigray region is home to some of the most iconic rock-hewn churches in Ethiopia, many of which are perched on cliffs or high in remote areas, making them accessible only through hikes or treks. These churches, carved into the rock centuries ago, are both religious and architectural marvels. Hiking to them is an experience that combines spiritual discovery with physical challenge.

In the morning you will take a flight from Addis Ababa to Axum ,up on arrival checking in to your hotel we will take you for a city tour of the ancient city of Axum in which you will visit, Axum Tsion St. Mary Orthodox church, Dungur Palace (Queen of Sheba Palace), Historical landmark, Ezana Stone, Ezana Park and Garden, Arabtu Ensessa Church, King Bazen’s Tomb, King Bazen’s Tomb Ruin, Obelisk of Axum / Stelae Field, Queen of Sheba’s Bath and so on. O/n in Hotel
