Lake Hāwea offers a quieter, more remote fishing experience than many of New Zealand’s better-known lakes. With six hours on the water, there is more time to explore different fishing spots, try multiple techniques, and settle into the peaceful rhythm of the lake.
The electric trolling motor keeps the experience quiet and low-impact, so you can enjoy the stillness of the water, the mountain views, and the excitement of fishing for trout and salmon without disturbing the natural surroundings.
