View the one of the oldest naval bases in Spain and a major industrial complex in the Mediterranean basin.

This fortification is located on the coastline, on the ledge called Santa Ana. It is easily accessible through the road from the harbour to Escombreras dock. It was originally a fort at the beginning of 18th century, but it was later rebuilt, according to the O'Donnell's Plan, shaped as a castle, with a large number of loopholes for rifle fire.
