As you travel around the city you’ll hear about it’s industrial beginnings – shipbuilding, linen, rope making, whiskey, tobacco, and aviation all being major contributors to life in Belfast. It also has a strong cultural side with it’s association with names like CS Lewis, James Galway, Van Morrisson, Jonathan Swift to mention only a few. You will also hear about the period called the Troubles in Northern Ireland and see sights associated with this time (murals telling the stories the people, the “Peace wall”). The tour will offer you views of some of Belfast’s iconic buildings – The Titanic Experience, City Hall, Queens University, The Crown Bar, the Opera House, Ulster Music Hall, Stormont. There will also be time do do a little bit of walking in the city centre if you wish.
