Ban Jelačić Square (Trg bana Jelačića) This is the central square of Zagreb, named after the famous Croatian general Ban Josip Jelačić. It’s a hub of activity and a meeting point for both locals and tourists. The square is surrounded by shops, cafes, and historical buildings, and is a great starting point for exploring the city.

Zagreb Cathedral (Katedrala Uznesenja Blažene Djevice Marije) Located just a short walk from Ban Jelačić Square, the Zagreb Cathedral is one of the city's most iconic landmarks. It is the tallest building in Croatia and features stunning Gothic architecture, with beautiful interiors and a significant historical role.

The Upper Town is the historical heart of Zagreb, full of medieval streets, charming buildings, and scenic views. Key sites in the Upper Town include: St. Mark’s Church (Crkva sv. Marka): Famous for its colorful tiled roof depicting the coat of arms of Croatia, Dalmatia, and Slavonia. Lotrščak Tower: A medieval tower offering a panoramic view of the city, and where a cannon is fired daily at noon. Stone Gate (Kamenita vrata): A 13th-century gate that is considered a spiritual and historical symbol of Zagreb, with a small chapel inside dedicated to the Virgin Mary.

Tkalčićeva Street - one of the most picturesque streets in Zagreb, Tkalčićeva is lined with cafes, bars, and restaurants. It is a great place to wander and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of the city, especially in the evenings.

Dolac Market - located just above Ban Jelačić Square, Dolac Market is the city's main open-air market. It’s an excellent spot to sample local Croatian produce, fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, and traditional handmade products.
