You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Delhi to begin your tour. Start with a visit to Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque, built in 1648 by Shah Jahan. This grand monument, with a courtyard that can hold up to 25,000 people, is the final architectural masterpiece of the Mughal emperor. Rickshaw Ride Experience a traditional rickshaw ride through the bustling lanes of Chandni Chowk Bazaar. The ride offers a unique perspective of Old Delhi, allowing you to witness its vibrant markets and lively atmosphere up close.

Visit the Red Fort (Lal Qila), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built between 1638 and 1648 in red sandstone, its massive walls stretch about 2 km, rising from 18 metres on the river side to 33 metres on the city side. (Closed on Mondays).

Visit the historic Purana Qila, the Old Fort of the Mughals, known for some of the finest Mughal-era structures. The fort is roughly rectangular, with a circuit of nearly two kilometers, surrounded by massive ramparts and three grand gateways flanked by bastions. A wide moat, once connected to the Yamuna River, encircled the fort. The northern gateway, called the Talaqi Darwaza (Forbidden Gate), blends Islamic pointed arches with Hindu-style chhatris and brackets. The southern gateway, known as the Humayun Darwaza, was built with a different architectural design.

After visiting Purana Qila, proceed to Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi. Located on the banks of the Yamuna, it marks the site of his cremation and is home to the eternal flame. The black marble platform bears the epitaph ‘He Ram,’ Gandhi’s last words after he was shot."
