It is approximately 3 minutes by taxi from Arima Onsen Station. The studio is located along Arima Kaido Road in a black, single-story new building with firewood stacked at the entrance, making it easy to recognize.

No calligraphy experience is necessary — beginners are very welcome.
Experience Japanese calligraphy in a quiet, private artist studio near Arima Onsen.
In this session, you will learn the basics of brush techniques, explore the meaning of kanji, and create your own artwork — either your name in Japanese or a character that resonates with you.
With personalized guidance, you will practice step by step and complete a unique piece to take home.
After the session, enjoy matcha and traditional Japanese sweets in a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
The main calligraphy session lasts about 90 minutes, followed by tea time to relax and enjoy your artwork.
