Manjanggul Cave
It is estimated that Manjanggul Cave was formed about 100,000 to 300,000 years ago, and Jeju Island was formed about 1.8 million years ago. Manjanggul Cave is a lava tube with a total length of about 7.4 km and partially has a multi-layered structure. It was initially connected to nearby Gimnyeongsa Cave, Field Cave, and Gaeu Jet Cave, but it is believed to have been separated as the ceiling collapsed. The main passage of Manjanggul Cave is 18m wide and 23m high, making it one of the largest lava caves in the world. There are many lava tubes around the world, but lava tubes like Manjanggul, which were formed hundreds of thousands of years ago and have well-preserved internal shapes and topography, are rare and have great academic and conservation value. Manjanggul Cave has three entrances formed by a recessed ceiling in the middle of the cave. Currently, the second entrance is open to the general public, and only 1km of it can be explored. Seongsan Ilchulbong
Jeju Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak is a wide crater with a height of 180m and an area of 2.64㎢. Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak is the most popular tourist attraction in Jeju Island after Hallasan Mountain. Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, one of the symbols of Jeju Island, was designated as a Biosphere Reserve in 2002, listed as a World Natural Heritage in 2007, and certified as a Global Geopark in 2010, making it the only place in the world to have won three UNESCO natural science awards. From the observatory, you can see Udo Island, the haenyeo material performance hall, the boat yard, and the Umutgae Coast, so it boasts a wonderful view no matter where you put it. Seongsan Ilchulbong has many unusually shaped rocks, and you can also see Deunggyeongdol Rock, which is said to have a legend that Seolmundae grandmother, who worked hard to carry soil, put a lamp on top of the rock while sewing a frayed skirt. There are also hiking trails so that you can see this legendary area up close.

Seopjikoji
Unlike other coasts in Jeju, it is also unique that it is full of red volcanic clusters. When the waves come in, the oddly shaped rocks that are submerged in the water are a gift from nature. Rapeseed flowers in spring and silver grass in autumn are in full bloom here. It is also famous for its beautiful coastal scenery where you can see Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak. It is well known as a regular filming location for dramas that once swept the country, such as Eyes of Dawn and All In. Jeju Seopjikoji is a place where the water is so clear and the scenery is so beautiful that there is a legend that a fairy descended from the sky took a bath. From a scientific point of view, it is also a great place to learn about nature by seeing the crater where magma erupted during a volcanic eruption. With this knowledge in mind, you can experience Seopjikoji more abundantly.
