Meet your guide at Fly Point Dive Site in Nelson Bay, where you'll get fitted with your snorkelling gear and 3 or 5mm wetsuit before a quick safety briefing and introduction to the marine sanctuary.
Then it’s time to get in! Fly Point has an easy shore entry, making it a great place for first-time snorkellers and those wanting a relaxed way to explore the underwater world.
You'll spend around an hour in the water with your guide, exploring the sanctuary's sponge gardens and kelp-covered reef while searching for the marine life that calls Port Stephens home.
