The Franciscan Monastery of Our Lady of the Angels near Orebić, built in the late 15th century at 152 meters above sea level on Mount St. Elijah, is special for its dramatic cliffside setting, panoramic sea views over the Pelješac Channel, rich maritime votive heritage, and the historic tradition of passing sailors sounding their ship horns in salute.

You’ll drive powerful Can-Am buggies along the hills above Orebić, climb to panoramic viewpoints over the channel, and step inside the Franciscan Monastery on St. Elijah’s Hill. Longer routes continue further into Pelješac’s wild interior — down to a swim, a stop at Franko’s Pizzeria in Kućište, and a wine tasting at Korta Katarina on the Premium tour, a Relais & Châteaux winery whose Plavac Mali and Pošip have scored in the 90s from Decanter.

Kučište on the Pelješac Peninsula is famous as a historic "captain's town" with rich maritime heritage, stunning stone captain's houses, and exceptional windsurfing conditions in the narrow Pelješac Channel facing Korčula. On longer routes we stop to taste Croatia's most famous pizza at Franko's.

Korta Katarina is a luxury seaside winery and Relais & Châteaux villa located in Orebić on the Pelješac Peninsula, just across the water from Korčula. Founded in 2005 by American owners Lee and Pam Anderson, it specializes in premium wines made from native Croatian grapes like Plavac Mali and Pošip.
