Experience one of Norway’s most unique winter activities in Norheimsund on the Hardangerfjord. After a short safety briefing, your guide helps you into a warm insulated immersion suit with hood, gloves, and boots. Then you step straight into the calm fjord from the shoreline and float safely and comfortably on the water.
This is not an extreme activity and no swimming skills are required.
The suit keeps you warm, dry, and naturally afloat, so you can simply relax and enjoy the peaceful winter scenery. Most guests spend around 25–45 minutes in the fjord, with the guide close by throughout. After the experience, warm drinks and light refreshments are served by the water.

This guided fjord floating experience takes place during the winter season in Norheimsund and offers a unique way to enjoy the Hardangerfjord in cold conditions.
The activity starts onshore, where guests put on insulated immersion suits designed to keep them warm and safe in cold water. Once everyone is dressed, the guide gives a short safety briefing and explains what to expect during the session.
