The enigmatic Argos castle. Argos is one of the oldest cities in Europe and this can be seen in the castle where civilizations have built upon civilizations. The castle is Byzantine (medieval) but part of the foundations is mycenaean and ancient.

The only ancient pyramid in Europe is in the neighbouring village Elliniko and is located at a point with an unobstructed view of the sea where mountain passes from the mountains of Arcadia end up in the Argolic plain. Both its dating and use are disputed.

At the shores of the Argolic gulf, at the village Myloi where mythical Lerna was located, the second labor of Hercules took place, the killing of the mythical monster Lernean Hydra in the marsh together with Iolaus. We will see the marsh, the mythical Alkyonia lake, and the mouth of the river along with a german Second World War military facility.

In ancient Tiryns, in an orange grove, we will see the majestic tholos tomb. It has been looted since ancient times and there is no information about who was buried there.

The mycenaean Kazarma bridge, the oldest in Europe and perhaps in the world. It is untouched by time and still functional to this day, it is part of the road that used to connect Mycenae with Epidaurus.
