This private full-day tour departs from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and drives approximately 70 kilometres (around 90 minutes) to My Tho Cruise Port.

From there, a private boat follows the Tien River — the northern distributary of the Mekong — past the Rach Mieu Bridge and along the floating fish cages and riverside settlements that line the current.

The first stop is Con Qui, one of the four islands of My Tho and the least visited of the group. The group walks through fruit orchards, picks and tastes seasonal fruit directly from the trees, visits a working honey farm, and samples coconut water from palms that overhang the garden paths. From here, a traditional sampan is rowed through the island's inner canals.

The tour continues by xe điện (electric cart) or xe lam (motorised rickshaw) through the village lanes of Quoi Son commune in Ben Tre — narrow paths between family properties and working workshops where coconut candy and banana candy are made by hand. Lunch follows at a riverside restaurant, with a set menu of freshly cooked Mekong Delta dishes that changes with what is fresh that day — river fish, seasonal vegetables, delta specialities and steamed rice.

After lunch, the group cycles at a leisurely pace through the surrounding village lanes — quiet paths between gardens and paddies that larger vehicles cannot reach. Guests who prefer not to cycle can walk the same route. The boat then returns to My Tho Cruise Port.

The private vehicle brings the group back to Ho Chi Minh City.
