We recommend arriving at the Monteverde Biological Cloud Forest Reserve 25 minutes before your tour. This allows time for check-in, getting your entrance ticket, and taking the 10-minute minibus ride to meet your guide next to the ticket office.

he Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is a Costa Rican reserve located along the Cordillera de Tilarán within the Puntarenas and Alajuela provinces. Named after the nearby town of Monteverde and founded in 1972, the Reserve consists of over 10,500 hectares of cloud forest.
