We’ll begin with breakfast alongside local shopkeepers in a traditional teahouse before heading into the lesser-known streets around the Egyptian Spice Market and deeper into Fatih. Along the way, we’ll meet wholesalers, cheesemongers and artisans who help feed the city.
In Kantarcılar, we’ll visit a fourth-generation confectioner making Turkish delight, stop for tea in an old caravanserai and discover hidden historic sites, including an Ottoman-era bozacı. We’ll finish with a generous lunch of traditional pit-roasted lam...
