The journey continues to Grindelwald, a stunning alpine village set at the foot of the famous Eiger North Face. Next, the journey continues to Lauterbrunnen, one of Switzerland’s most enchanting valley villages. Nestled between steep, dramatic cliffs, this picturesque town is famous for its stunning waterfalls—over 70 of them cascade down the mountainsides, creating a magical, fairytale atmosphere. For first-time visitors, Lauterbrunnen is a place that feels like stepping into a postcard: lush green meadows, quaint chalets, and breathtaking views at every turn. Take a moment to breathe in the fresh mountain air, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and capture unforgettable photos of this truly unique alpine valley.

A walk to Staubbach Falls is one of the most iconic and rewarding strolls in Lauterbrunnen, perfect for visitors of all ages. Starting from the village center, the path leads gently through flower-filled meadows and traditional Swiss chalets, with sheer limestone cliffs rising dramatically on both sides of the valley. As you walk, the sound of rushing water grows louder, guiding you toward the falls. Staubbach Falls plunge nearly 300 meters from an overhanging cliff, making them one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Europe. A short trail allows visitors to walk behind the waterfall, offering a refreshing and unforgettable perspective from within the rock face. The walk is short, easy, and incredibly scenic, taking around 15–20 minutes one way.
