The Fort of Paimogo is a small coastal fort near Lourinhã, on Portugal’s Silver Coast. Built in the 17th century as part of a defensive network against pirate attacks and invasions, the fort overlooks the Atlantic Ocean from a dramatic cliffside location. Its strategic position helped protect the coastline and nearby fishing communities.

Enjoy some time in Santa Cruz to look at the famous rock, explore the beach town and have a nice coffee or snack (not included). Santa Cruz is known to be a surfing hot spot but the town holds a lot of beauty and became a point of interest for many artists. Scientists recently discovered a nest containing about 10 dinosaur eggs in the cliffs of Santa Cruz, dating back roughly 150 million years to the Upper Jurassic period.
