Step into a working Athenian ceramics studio and create your own handcrafted piece in a calm, hands-on session guided by an experienced maker. The experience begins with a short theoretical introduction, where you’ll learn how a ceramic piece is made from start to finish—from shaping and forming to drying and finishing—so you understand the full creative process before you begin working with the clay. You will then shape the material yourself, explore basic techniques, and gradually bring your own object to life in a relaxed, creative environment—no experience needed. Step into a quiet studio in Athens and discover clay through a hands-on creative experience. The workshop begins with a short intro to ceramic process, followed by a guided session to create your own textured piece inspired by ancient Greek motifs. Using soft clay, rope, and natural materials such as leaves, branches, and organic textures, you’ll create unique surface patterns through imprint and touch. Rope is pressed, wrapped, and pulled across the clay, leaving behind tactile marks and rhythmic traces that guide the form of the piece.
