Experience a wonderful hike in Peneda-Gerês National Park, Portugal’s only national park known for its pristine wilderness, diverse wildlife, and stunning landscapes. This guided trek from the village of Xertelo takes you through peaceful mountain trails to the famous “7 Lagoons” (Poços Verdes do Sobroso), natural turquoise pools surrounded by waterfalls. Along the way, explore historical sites like the ancient Fojo do Lobo wolf trap and an old levada irrigation channel. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the lagoons (seasonal)and a picnic in nature, making this a rich cultural and natural experience in Northern Portugal.
